It's funny she cleared you to 020 when it was 023skc. Oh well, "maintain VFR" thanks for all the informative videos, I have learned so much and someday I will be off MSFS and into the real thing! A good pilot is always learning, even when real flying will have to wait

I’m about 70 hours in and feel comfortable in the plane. Have all my solo CX time done and STILL absolutely suck at stalls and it’s very frustrating. On a good day I’ll get 1 or 2 out of 5 where I don’t lose my heading. I don’t know what to do!!!!!

What about on a short unimproved runway?

That was really interesting to see. I have always understood that ATC can deny a pop up request, but I did not expect that they might initially provide a VFR clearance as they work on the IFR one. I also did not know that they could clear you to your destination via vectors as part of the clearance.

I am a “rusty” CFI just trying to get back into flying. I thank God for your forum. This is info that I not only am learning from, but I send others to also. Thanks again, and God Bless

Fantastic! I’m working on my private pilots… My assigned instructor had me spend 1.3 hours doing 10 touch and goes with two full stops . My first ones were my best. My calls got better. I called it quits. I’ve asked him to do mix practice up in the air. Add turns in with stalls and so forth. We will practice stalls repeatedly for an hour. He told me that until I prove myself I don’t deserve to do anything else. 🙁 I’m not improving, I’m getting frustrated. Recently I’ve flown with other flight instructors and asked them if we could do mixed practice. I’m making progress with them. And was even told by one instructor that he’s going to mix things up with his students more often, especially when they get stuck. I think I’m gonna have to fire my primary.

Don’t do shallow banks left and right. I failed my private checkride because of that. It’s a Constant turn either left or right of 30-45 degree bank

Cape Air pilots need a refresher on sterile flight deck on approach to and within a 5 mile radius of KBOS, also 1 Delta pilot, who seems to be regional out of Newark, NJ and a JetBlue pilot - you can delete all the evidence from your phone, but the company that provides your phone service never deletes anything.
